These Terms & Conditions apply to all training courses provided by Westpro Safety & Training. By registering for any course, participants and companies agree to the policies regarding payment, cancellations, transfers, attendance, and certification requirements. Please review the information below carefully before booking.

Terms & Conditions

Registration, Payment & Course Confirmation

All course registrations are subject to availability. A seat in a course is not guaranteed until payment has been received or an approved company account is in place.

Payment Terms

Payment must be received before the course start date unless the client has an approved account. Clients with approved accounts will be invoiced according to agreed billing terms. Westpro Safety & Training reserves the right to refuse entry if payment has not been received. Online bookings require payment at checkout unless invoicing has been approved.

Payment confirms acceptance of all Terms & Conditions listed on this page and during checkout.

Cancellation, Transfers & Refund Policy

Participants may cancel, transfer, or reschedule training subject to the following conditions.

Cancellation Policy

  • Minimum 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours notice may result in full course charge.
  • No-shows are charged the full course fee.
  • If Westpro cancels a course, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

Transfers to Another Course Date

  • Transfers are permitted with at least 24 hours notice.
  • Transfers must be used within 90 days unless approved.
  • Multiple transfers may be refused at management discretion. Substitutions

Companies may substitute another employee if:

  • The substitution is requested before the course start time.
  • The replacement meets course requirements.
  • The course has not already started.
  • Course Attendance & Late Policy

Participants must arrive on time and be prepared for training.

Late Arrival

  • Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late may be refused entry.
  • Late arrivals may be charged the full course fee.
  • Rescheduling late arrivals is not guaranteed.

Required PPE

Participants must bring required PPE unless otherwise stated.

  • CSA approved safety boots (minimum 6")
  • Long pants
  • Gloves
  • Safety glasses
  • Hard hat & hi-vis vest for equipment courses

Failure to bring PPE may result in removal from the course without refund.

Safety rules must be followed at all times while on site.

Certification & Training Disclaimer

Completion of training requires successful participation in both theory and practical components.

Certification Conditions

  • Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.
  • Some courses require minimum passing grades.
  • Instructors may stop training if unsafe behaviour is observed.

Training provides knowledge and basic skills only. Competency requires supervision, experience, and employer authorization.

Substitution, Transfer & Course Limits

Transfers and substitutions are subject to availability and course capacity.

Transfer Conditions

  • Transfers must be requested before course start.
  • Courses may not be transferred after completion.
  • Expired registrations may require rebooking.
  • Special courses may have stricter transfer rules.

Participants agree to follow all safety rules and instructor directions.

Westpro Safety & Training is not responsible for personal belongings. Unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund. Employers are responsible for worker competency after training.
